Blog 2 - The best concert i've ever had

 The best concert i've been, was the Lollapalooza festival in Chile, 2019. I remember it was a Friday, 29th of march. That day fisrt, i came to universityto attend class, and after luch, i moved to Parque O'Higgins to enjoy all day the different Shows. Ther was a lot of artists, and i enjoyed Clairo, Jorja Smith; but my main goal it was to see Kendrik Lamar. The final show, late that night but waited for him. He is a rapper, a modern poet for a lot of people and crítics; he even win a Pullitzer award. I arrived like 1 hour before the show of Kendrick starts, and i waited patiently. Ther was a lot of expectations becuase we know he will never come in a solo show to Chile, only in a big festival like this. It was crowded, everyone was expectant. In some point i literally think that the whole thing was about to explode. I made a friend with a girl next to me, and we protected each other form the crowd. When the show begun, it was absolutely awesome, a memory for my entire life. It was the best show i've ever seen.

 The country i want to visit it is the United Kingdom. I've always like that place, always get my atention when i see his beautiful landscapes and all the history that country has. That is where capitalism took his first real industrial steps, and it is the place where Marx thought about the revolution of the workers. It´s fascinating. I´ve already know that their food it is not the most attractive (fish and chips sounds quite bland), but it doesn't matter. I would like to go to historical places, museums, and discover not only england, but Wales too. But the main reason is: i've always dreamed about study there. Doing a Master's degree, or even a PHD. Manchester university, or the London University, specically, the LSE. I hope my dreams come true. I've dreamed about applying for the program 'Becas Chile', getting accepted, and then go to the LSE to do a MPhill/PHD about the subjects i've always liked: Philosophy, Sociology and Social research methods.

Blog post 6 - Time travel to the future

 I'm not sure if i want to go to the future. Imagine this: the present is scary as hell, it's quite a horrible place to live. There is literally fire in the ocean because of a oil spill. Mega corporations and billionares will go personally to the space (Musk, Branson, Bezos). We in Chile are in the middle of a mega-drought, and in te south pole there was a temperature of 18° celsius. I mean, we, today, are quite doomed. So in the future? I don't believe it's gonna be much better. I would like to stay right here, in Chile, and see our shores dissapear. We don't know yet if it is possible to go to the future, but if we can, i would stay here, and probably, around 300 years in the future. i don't hace too much faith in the human race to save the planet, and i think it's gonna be ver post-apocaliptyc. Like Mad Max where there are wars for the last fresh water. Or in like Waterworld where the poles melted completely and all the reamain human race lives in the wat...

Post 5 - My future job

 I'm studying Social Work, so my future dream job it's related to that. I've always think that the elderly people in this country are left behind; pensions, social security, and even public policies are not always done with the elderly on mind. So i would like to work on the SENAMA (Elderly national service). I would like to investigate, to travel across the country to check, evaluate and oversee how the elderly people are treated in their retirement homes, or if there are public policies in the Municipality that needs to be fixed. I just want a salary that allows me to have a decent home, and let me help my parents economicaly. I would like to do a master´s degree, apart from my specialization on undergraduate. A master degree could help me in my porpuse of work on the state's administration. Probably i could take a Social Work master degree, but ther is also a very cool one about systemic analysis applied to society, that investigate the society as a complex mechanism...
