Blog 3 - My Profession

 This time i gotta talk about my career. It's not my profession yet, because i'm studying right now in university but i hope i can dedicate myself to this in the future. 

My career is Social Work. It's a discipline that combines a lot of the general aspects on social sciences, and puts them in a blender, that tries to reach a wide range of applications on real life. Social Work works on "the tension", the space where structures failed to the people, and this discpline tries to understand that tension, and it's goal is to help those in need in that tension.

It's a very appealing career, because a can learn a wide range of topics, on sociology, psychology, philosophy, history and political science. And historically, has more employability. The most jobs come from the public sector (municipality, the state) and i like that, i like to work on the public sector, that's why i choose this university. Being able to study from dense theory, like epistemology, and after that, apply that dense theory on real issues of real people: i really like that, i think that´s the idea of study a social science.

I choose this carrer for his employability, all the topics that study, nd because a liked the university of Chile proyect on this particular career.
